Ogre Island Ogre Style: Kick Starter

Some years after starting the new version of Ogre Island Vagabond decided to try and get more funding for developing the game through crowdfunding. The project is still up in Kickstarter , but I would list it here if it would not have had any impact on the game. Several of the well known players contributed, as you can also see on the main page of Ogre Island in the most right drop-down menu. For reference I repeat the list here (the title behind the name references the support schedule and related in-game rewards):

Player house! Houses are completely under your control. You can decorate it with player generated items, lock the door, make it your home. Many more options planned for for player homes.

Master Craftsman

Player house with an extra room plus 4 area decorations. Be the talk of your neighborhood. Add special decorations around your player house. You can decorate both rooms with player generated items, lock the doors, make it your home. Many more options planned for player homes.
Also includes saddle bags for your horse and a pack horse with saddle bags you can take into mines or dungeons with you.

Baronet

Master of trade skills.
Get a 10% ring of experience for leveling, a 15% ring for trade skills and a special 1 of a kind unique trade skill tool item in the game. You get to name it.
Learn to create a trade item nobody else can.
One of a kind items spell, you name it.
Includes Master Craftsman rewards (only the 2 exp rings in this tier).

Knight

Conquer at all costs! Get a 10% ring of experience for leveling, a 5% ring for trade skills and a special 1 of a kind unique weapon/armor item in the game. You get to name it.
Your choice, a boss monster, pathway or road named after you. Sign will be added to the game, you can help add the text.
Includes Master Craftsman rewards (only the 2 exp rings in this tier).

Lord

Get the special, elusive dragon mount! Feel the thrill of riding a baby dragon to your next adventure!
All the rewards from Baronet or Knight (your choice), plus... your choice, either create a quest line or create a dungeon. You get to design it yourself! All the monsters and NPCs, names, NPC text, quests, etc. We will help you to put together your ultimate dungeon or quest.

Baron

Your choice of.. Secluded Ranch House, Wizard Tower, or Strong Hold. Can be located outside of towns. Building of your choice with 4 rooms, lockable doors, fences and paths. Also includes a 1 room secondary building (barn, weapons storage, crypt, guard tower or fort building)
Create your own NPC to vendor your wares with, plus 12 area decorations.

Bishop, Innkeeper or Bartender.

Character title based on the building type you own. Own an existing town building; Inn, Tavern, Church or Vendor Shop Your building will have 4 rooms, one of which you can make your living quarters with lockable door. We will help you decorate your shop any way you would like.
Own two NPCs that will vendor your shop items for you.

Viscount

Housing Complex. Own 5 homes connected in a group within any town you choose. All houses can be customized in relationship to each other, plus 20 game decorations for the area, and two NPCs to vendor your wares with. We will help you decorate the area around the complex to make it unique. Houses can be shared with friends, family, guild mates, or whatever you choose.
Create two of your own NPC vendors to sell your wares with, plus 15 area decorations.

Earl

Castle! Own a castle in the game with multiple floors, rooms and NPCs, plus custom items for the interior. You can choose between a secluded castle with an extra building or in town with 4 player homes grouped nearby. Three NPC vendors and three non-vendor NPCs you can customize any way you like, plus 20 game decorations for the area. Create the ultimate hideout for your guild or game family.
Create three of your own NPC vendors to sell your wares with, plus 15 area decorations.
Includes a trade crafting item placed anywhere on your property.
Have a statue of your character in the game somewhere.

Earl

Create your own player house. This is not just another house, this will be completely unique and one of a kind in the game. You can either provide the graphics or tell our artist what you want. You can choose between a secluded home with an extra building or in town with 4 player homes grouped nearby.
Three NPC vendors and three non-vendor NPCs you can customize any way you like, plus 20 game decorations for the area.
Create the ultimate hideout for your guild or game family.
Have a statue of your character in the game somewhere.
Includes Lord rewards.

Duke

You will have double the Earl rewards. We will work with you to set aside and craft your place on the Island. Will include a spawn stone, 3 trade craft features, two castles or unique buildings, 8 player homes.
Create six of your own NPCs, vendors to sell your wares or guard to keep your area clear of monsters.
Also includes 1 town building (tavern, inn, church, etc) that you will own and stock with NPCs.
Area will show up on the players world map, you get to name it.
Includes Lord rewards.

Prince

Setup a small town. Four Earl rewards, all grouped together or spread apart. Your choice. Will include a spawn stone, 6 trade craft features, four castles or unique buildings, 16 player homes.
Create a dozen of your own NPC vendors to sell your wares or guard to keep your area clear of monsters. 50 area decorations.
Area will show up on the players world map, you get to name it. We will help you you craft this area .
Includes Lord rewards.

King

Own a small island in the game. We will work with you to completely design your island with landscape, NPCs, quests, town or dungeons.
You will help create a part of the game and forever be sharing fun with others.
